Althought I cant do anything with the model, Ive decided to do some OPSing (no FM however, I cant do that as of yet)

Before I start (actually Ive already started some ) Aladar, what have you done to the Bf-110C since last I got a trial and test version? I'll add a Bf-109 cockpit for now so it will at least have one. (copy and paste job really) Ive done some DOF fixing, and part alignment. Also it does NOT blow up on takeoff now. I'll see if I can actually get the brakes to work too.

Listen, I hope that I didn't upset anyone.I think all of you are doing a excellent job. I was just asking if anyone else had experienced the same or was it just me and my take-off procedure. I apologize to anyone that I may have offended. JP

No apologies needed. (I begun work on an updated Bf-110 a while back) I just thought Id announce it I see Aladar moved the damage LODs around. I feel this was a waste of time however since they are going to be replaced later on (after everything else is done) with damage LODs that fit. Im going to put the Bf-109 cockpit in place now.

Your's was a great post Blitzer.... I don't think anyone was offended. This is what testing planes is about. You run across something and you report it. No worries. Good idea Argon. Something is better than nothing.... although, for just a fix, wouldn't it be better to use the instrument panel from a 38, being that is the only other single/non-bomber A/C in the game? We aren't looking for realism here, just functionality....
Just a thought,

Hmmm... you maybe right about the P-38 cockpit. But alas it is not in German! Plus the Bf-109 cockpit looks more like the Bf-110 cockpit except for the extra gauges needed. Maybe I should just hold off putting a cockpit panel in till someone actually makes one?

What are all the problems everyone has noticed so far with the Bf-110? (besides the DM and FM) You know, stuff like parts out of place, things that wont work (on the version I got from the Hangar, some gear doors do not work. Does anyone else see this? or did I get the wrong version?)

I need a list of problems so I know where to start and if Ive missed anything.

Oh dear, and I was just about to have a tinker with the FM.

So help is not needed? maybe that's why you didn't say thanks for the email.

Or am I wrong?

Well, i admit what I said was pretty mean/rude/confusing. It's alright if someone helps because I asked, but, well nevermind, I'll just hide under a rock the rest of my life. And Elric, what are you talking about??

Crankshaft has a good idea there maybe, although the Warbirds cockpits are not easily "cracked," I fear.

However, Air Warrior 3 has a 110, and perhaps either MS FS or MS CFS has a user-added 110. Those files ARE easily hacked into, and usually contain .bmp files for much of the cockpit. Fairly easy to work with those.

As an interim, I'd suggest just dropping in the 109 for the forward pit, and perhaps "borrowing" part of the Pe-2 cockpit for the gunner's tub.

Aladar, I sent you an email with links to bf110 photos, cockpit plans, 3 plan views and the remains of an old bf110 project sitting on my hard drive. Did you not get it?

If you find a cockpit you like, you can always take screenshots.
