Ya know, been sort of busy with two summer sessions, finals, two major programs to write and a term paper.

BTW, what mapping problem? Zoycite did remap the tail section and added the exhaust texture below the wings. This will cause some minor touch ups to existing skins.

I can change it back to the original if that is what is wanted. No problems. I would really like to use the 3D tail with the original mapping, But we have had trouble with that so far.

Also can you help add the wheels, When I add them in OPS they are not alligned properly, when I switch them in AC3D they turn out transparent.

Thank you for your interest in this and for helping out.

Hey, do you guys need me to re-do the 3D tail surfaces, or are they out being remapped or something? I have a little better technique for making them now.

I can probably convert the belly scoop to one that's a little bit "rounder" using the existing scoop, without changing the mapping, if you want me to try...

Looks good so far tho. What's wrong with the wheels? They look OK to me. If they're showing up "transparent," that's almost certainly either a problem with the texture reference or the "color" you choose in AC3D. If you've added a new texture for the wheels, it has to be added to the .sm file as well. You also have to give that texture both the correct "index" and make sure the color chosen in AC3D has that index as the "shininess" and has its transparency set to zero. (Apologies if you knew all that already).

Gunner as you know, Razer and I have been around here a long time, we ain't lost that lovin feeling yet. I understand the fustration though, this thing has taken a long time. I added several damage effects, then when trying them out would get the freeze bug so I would try and change it, same result, then I would eliminate it, finally realized the bug is in the base model, not the damage effects. Having little time to work on it and when I did was so unproductive. Well, now I finally have some time to devote to fixing this.

Jedi, as for the wheels, Razer has improved the wheels, they actually look like tires and I really want to see them on this plane. I have very little experience with 3D modeling, just worked a lot with OPS. I have been trying to learn (finally was able to do some texture mapping for the first time)

Please do (if you have time) redo the 3D tail, and scoop. This would also be greatly appreciated.

Can anyone redo the canopy frame to give the top a more rounded look(I have several pictures) and give the canopy a reflective look?

That freeze bug is nasty. It locked up my PC last night and I spent 1/2 hour trying to get the thing to boot up stable. As much as I LOVE that plane you guys did I'm gonna hold off flying it until it's fixed.

Great work, but my PC is afraid of it now.

I know what you mean Pete, I can usually hit Alt, Ctrl, Del once, hit Enter and wait a few seconds, then hit Enter again. The "Close Program" box comes up in the background, but you can not see it behind the SDOE screen. Pressing Enter will "End task" for SDOE. This should get you out. At least it works for me.

Fixing this bug is the first thing on the list for now, I will post a new beta as soon as it is ready.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Thanks lfbpro, I will add the visible spaces from the air intake to the list of fixes.

As for the FM, all the control surfaces have been set to their proper range of motion and had to add weight to the tail just to get it to fly. Don't worry, I know Pang will take good care of the FM. He is just waiting for the finished 3D model.
