I was struggling for two days on getting my Harrier's panel texture to map correctly. I fought with the ID texture in the LOD file, in OPS, and even setting it correctly in AC3D. I finally decided maybe the answer was in the Texture Tab of OPS. Never did I know until now that all the texture references are in there, and in the right order too! I found the panel, ref #10, and sure enough there was that darned German fuel gauge that kept appearing on my Panel when in the game. I pointed it to the right file in my /texture folder, and finally!!! It works! So keep that in mind if you have probs with this.

Also, a quick way to check the LOD you are working on and it's Texture ID, just do this. Export a LOD file from OPS of whatever part you are trying to texture map. Open it up in notepad and use this guide that JT (Woodpanel back then) made a while back. It saved me today too. Down near the bottom find the part that says texture ID and make sure it's the one you want it to be pointing to. Change it if necessary, save it, and reimport it back into your SM file in OPS. Then it should work!

Hope this helps some who've been having any problems. I lost some hair over this.

The pic of that helpful LOD guide can be seen here... http://www.schoolmusic.com/chickencoop/se5a/docs/lods.htm

be sure to check out SV's other great guides too. Thanks SV and JT for the help.
