OK, this is not a bug ! It works this way:I.e. you are in the pilots position, both wings are gone, the rest of the plane is going down, but nothing happens ? Thats normal, you had to bail out first before the Ai controlled positions will bail !!! I had to program a function or so which detaches the other crew members, but unfortunately it seems not that easy to do.
The only way I know is to send an 'imp command to the vehicle, but this would kick YOU out of the plane first, so it wont change the whole situation..
So YOU had to jump out first, then the crew members will jump too, they are very brave now and wait for you to bail out 
As I said this is not a bug ! IP: Logged |

Reminds me when we installed some new software at work, whenever we found a bug which the software company did not have on their offical Bug list it was decribed as"An undocumented feature" and could not call it a bug until it appeared on the list. Not in this case of course Laika  IP: Logged |

Hehe - no really, is is the way OP handles crew positions, bail commands are allways send to the vehicle, and NOT to individual crew members (cause there aren't any with the shipped planes). I like the way it works now, YOU had to take care for the whole crew, cause you are the pilot, chief, big papa, whatever - If you do not bail out in time you can kill your whole crew... This single messaging thing is also a good pointer at why only one plane will drop it's bombs on a target. The plane that dropped it's bombs tells the rest that 'it took care of the target already' while hard targets like Ly Dam usually take more than one payload to knock out. The AI assumes that it is competent enough to hit the target, even though it completely misses sometimes.It is also the reason why planes with crewed guns won't target multiple planes. IP: Logged |
