Well i felt bad cause of OPS killing the most current work so i figured i'd pop in the old version to show you guys.

As, you can see.. there is a small lighting problem on the left wing. It's not that i can't fix it, it's that i haven't gotten to it yet. I've been working on the cockpit and haven't spent that much time fixing the little things. the fast prop is being redone as well as the slow prop. I'm also touching up the doors and wheels. while i'm doing this, jedi is adding 3D tails. then i'll remap them and you shouldget beta's of her and her offspring. Sorry, no images of her offsrping just yet.

FM work really hasn't been done yet. I would like to thank kraft. It's his plane and without the many hours he put into it, the images above would have never been posted. Just hope he doesn't come in here and start crying or something.

YEah! I am feeling a bit teary-eyed, but they are tears of joy!
BEAUTIFUL. Keep up the good work, Razer!
Bummer about the corrupted sm file. Happened to me too. Regarding the cockpit, I've just built a simple cockpit bucket with a driveshaft tunnel in the middle, and some filler flaps to cover the gap between the bucket and the cockpit framework. I wasn't thinking about any provision for door openings but that would be a future concern.
I think you'll find the panel is a stock 51 panel, if memory serves me right. I did have one nice cockpit pic of the 39, seen through the open starboard door. It was on a site full of cockpit shots, but I can't remember where right now. Dude, I'm so stoked about this. Great.

I fixed the fast prop lastnight and a few other little things. I will include the tiff in the texture folder so people can add the strobing prop, but i know tailslide will enjoy this one.

The one you sent me doesn't look like that
It has white wings, and no prop. I'm assuming that the .tif you sent me was an early version, and the prop wasn't done yet, but just makin sure I'm working on the right plane

Yea jedi, These images was taken on the Gaming PC which has new tiffs. The version i sent you was on the modeling PC which doesn't have the cool schemes or other important tiffs. I sent you a new SM file this morning which had the fixed props and adjusted cockpit.

if you want i can send you the tiff's tomorrow.

Yeah, go ahead and send me the skin .tifs. Helps me to visualize what I'm doing. I assume the tail surfaces have been mapped to two separate sides, i.e. not mirrored. If not I can try to map them (need that if we want the undersurfaces to be light gray for Soviet skins).
