I have enough material at home to make a G50 too. For the other fighters i would need material, 3view drawings photos etc.Lem IP: Logged |

Maury,I came across some real nice scale drawings a long time ago and fell in love with them. That started me collecting them. There used to be several companies that sold them by the sheet, but just about all of them have gone out of business. I also used to make solid wood models from them. I've done several aircraft for the Quonset Air Museum in Rhode Island. Mostly planes you can't find in plastic kits. A few of the planes in the pic show some of them. I don't make them any more because of my job where I work all night and sleep during the day. All in all, with the several books and all of the sheets, I guess I have at least 300-400 or so. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Neato. The only one's I've been able to find lately are the "cut away" sorts of plans. There's some good ones, but usually not useful for this sort of thing. You'd think that with the low distribution costs of the 'net that someone could offer these as 3D plans. I know Viewport (I think that's the name) has a bunch, but they're outrageously priced. Maury

BIG THX, Dauntless The drawings are great. I think i begin with the bomber after the 2 fighters. Your models are looking great, WTG Lem [This message has been edited by Lemsko (edited 07-27-2000).] IP: Logged |
