OK I didn't get any responce to the Ladder. So I'm giving a Tournament a go.This is a cool free Tournament utillity and I think we should make use of it. This an informal kind of thing just for fun although the utility will allow us to have a full tournament in the future without a lot of hassle. Surely there are two BAB's or FC's that will take on the 225th.IP: Logged |

Bomber,
I really would rather do the Ladder thing. Falck and I considered it, but we're both pretty busy; he's doing the Warhawk, and I have 4 FM projects going. Plus, it's summer, and tough to schedule 4 guys for a flight. Getting a fight with another guy during a week shouldn't be too tough OTOH. Also, we have the war going on which is keeping guys who are active quite busy with practice and stuff. What do you think?

Interesting....I will check and see if any of the FC are interested. Note: if Tailslide flies, a special rule must be instituted.....he must wear a blindfold and ear plugs at all times and his monitor must be turned off. His hands and feet must be taped together with duct tape and hung upside down from the ceiling, and he has to fly only a B17 with a empty fuel tank.What am I saying?? He'd STILL shoot me down....LOL

Bomber, sorry you're not getting a lot of responce to your tournament. I've been so busy with the sdoe war that I haven't been on the forum much. I've also join the JG3 squadron and we fly 2 nights a week and I've got an "X" amount of time online before the wife starts tapping that foot and looking at me funny. I'll ask my squadies and see if anyone wants a go at it. It would give us a good 2 vs 2 training. To tell you the truth its going to be hard for me to find the time right now.

Thanks for the replies guys. The main purpose in this is to give the guys who can't fly in the War a chance to get into something competitive. And to get a little serious training in. I know that the time I picked is not the best for everyone but people have been saying that they could not make the war because of the time difference or church or whatever.IP: Logged |
