I upgraded my system 1 month after Christmas. I was sick of my shisty 233 MMX system (that Id built 2 years before) so I went and built another NEW one. (on what budget I had) It took a while to research what worked and fitted with what, and what NOT to get.... I finally had it all figured out and went and bought all the parts and got it all up and running in 2 hours. I have had NO problems with any of my hardware yet. If anyone wants to upgrade their system (or build a whole new one) take my advice, research before you buy! You would be surprised what doesnt work with what and what causes problems with this and not that... (researching can save you alot of time and money) There are little picky things to keep in mind... cache size on the processor and the motherboard, how much and what type of RAM, voltage issues with cards, what refresh rates and resolution rates can the graphics card do, chipset of the motherboard, how many slots (PCI, AGP, ISA) does the motherboard have, type of motherboard (baby AT, ATX) ECC and NON ECC RAM and what can the motherboard do, BUS speeds... the list goes on and on and on. It all has to add up just right other wise you will be screwed sooner or later.
