Come and test it out. I would love feed back! Much thanks to Aladar for the 3d model, ReaperMan and Pete for the wheel testing. I hope you guys enjoy it and dont forget to read the readme file. I still need skins however. If anyone wants to do one feel free.**Update** For the Ju-88 to release, you must NOT be invincible and you have to have enable self damage checked. **Update** ReaperMan has brought to my attention that on his system, SDOE with MHs beta patches do not allow the breaking DOF that releases the Ju-88 to break. So if you are using MHs beta patches and have not gotten the Ju-88 to release, use the v1.5 official patch. I am using the v1.5 official patch and it releases on my install of SDOE. OK...I am not a moron, but for the life of me I can't get the 88 to drop! I went into the keyboard.inp and it is as you say it should be...and I was well over 230 mph...so why can't I drop the big bang boom? And your sure that the line "cmdbomb = A" is in your keyboard? Only press A once, it needs a chance for the DOF to rotate.IP: Logged |

Thanks Jeeves! It SHOULD break off. Just press A once. You dont even need to be in a dive just going 230 mph. Give it a second or two. If you opened it up in OPS that MAY have messed it up but it really shouldnt have. Ive opened it up in OPS hundreads of times. Make sure youre not invincible and have enable self damage checked. Guys I need feedback. Are there any problems that youve ran into? Does it even work? If so what could be improved (other than whats already ben said in the readme) I cant test all aspects, lord knows Ive tried... but someone always puts things to the testing extreme. It was an OPS pain in the A$$ and alot of things had to be "worked around" or "improvised" so I was just wondering if these improvisions had any problems. LoL its a miracle its even doable with OPS. Again I have tried all the above, and that damn 88 just sits under the 109....even after 1 minute!! I am about ready to take the thing outta my SDOE file I am so frustrated!!Could someone maybe send me a copy of their keyboard.inp? Other than that-- the only thing I can think of is that I placed something wrong-- but it all apears to be in the right place. Argon,I love this thing! It is so ominous to watch flying. It just looks deadly, mean, ugly, etc. I love the Ju88's paintjob too. Great work getting the problems fixed!  IP: Logged |

Hey Argon and Aladar,I love the Mistel! Boy, does it look mean or what. And it's sluggish as hell, too. Wow! Only thing is, the Ju 88 doesn't detach - same thing like what happened to Jeeves. I double- and triple-checked my keyboard.inp, and made sure I had invulnerability unchecked and self-damage checked. at 3500 meters I put her into a steep dive, let IAS climb to 750 km/h, press A once and - nothing. The Mistel shook a bit after pressing A, but that was about it. I tried hard to wiggle the Ju 88 off, but it didn't work. Peter IP: Logged |

Guys, I will try to get to the bottom of this non-breaking problem. Its very odd it works for some people and not others. Jeeves, send me your SM. I want to see if anything got messed up (for some strange reason) I may have to remap the 'A' to something else. The only thing I can figure about the keyboard.inp file is that is the cmdBomb = A under the 'Other flight controls' section? Also, Royohboy, Jeeves, ReaperMan are yall using any MH patches? I have not tested this thing with the MH patches. I know this sounds odd but do you have your CAPS lock on? Ive not tried that so just a hunch. Ahh... I am using the Beta Build! That may be it!! Jeeves, tell me if the Mistel works with v1.5 official patch. If it does, Im a happy camper but then we have an all new problem. I'll ask MH why breaking DOFs dont work with his betas. Royohboy, are you using the MH beta patches? If so install just the v1.5 official patch and use it with that. I too am using the v1.5 official patch.IP: Logged |

In the media folder there is a Stringtable.ppf file. In order for me to see the Mistel's loadout of "mistel" in the mission editor, I had to put this in it (last line here). This may have something to do with it Jeeves but I'm not sure. Try adding it to your stringtable.strGuns "Guns" strRockets "Rockets" strLightBombing "Light bombing" strHeavyBombing "Heavy bombing" strGunsRockets "Guns & Rockets" strBlanks "Blanks" strHeavyBombRocket "Heavy bombs & Rockets" strMistel "Mistel"

OK, I reinstalled the 1.5-patch and it worked fine. Nice job, guys! I'd love to use it with the 1.5.1.65-patch, though. But, wow, was it cool to feel how the Mistel detached!IP: Logged |

I believe what I'll try to do now is improve the way the modified Ju-88 detaches... such as the response time and the way it jolts back. I've already improved the response time, you dont have to wait long anymore. I havent figured out why it jolts back however...IP: Logged |

Aladar, you know Ive never thought about that one. Did you ever get your drop tank to work correctly on the Schuckert you were working on? BTW what ever happened to that project?I wonder if there is a way to make the game think the plane is not actually ripping off the Bf-109... or to make it rip gently...IP: Logged |

Argon, the Siemens Schuckert was sent to Sv, but haven't heard anything yet, He was gonna post it. My tank never really was a gas tank, it was a bomb with no explosion. Anyone who wants it I'll post it on my site tonight, and keep a eye out for betty progress shots .IP: Logged |

I'd love to have it! BTW, I put actuall brakes on the bf-109 now. Ive also set the fuel up right (I think) and I now made the release work at any speed (even zero)IP: Logged |

How did you make the braking DOF work at zero???? That seems impossible given how it works. Look at my site in about 30 minutes for the Siemens Schuckert.IP: Logged |

Haha! I thought about it for a while and I said... "if something moves really fast that has an airfoil, it would generate torque right?" So I made the Runtime of the DOF attached to the object with an airfoil .01 and presto! It detaches at zero mph. with out any problem. BTW I cant find the Seimens on your page...
