I need a scan of the Yak-3 picture from it very badly but $50 is a bit much for one photo

It shows the instruments very clearly.

Well TS...

I am sorry that I don't have the book to help you-- I did see it the other day, but I'm broke!

But you can help me I think...I am building a Yak-1 and a Il-2 plastic model and the paint guide says the cockpits were a color that I can't find anywhere...but your Yak pit seems to match pretty well-- is there a name to it? Or what the hell do I mix to get that color? Thanks...

Hi Jeeves, I just did it by eye from a cockpit photograph. This page may help you with paints:

TS, if all else fails try your local library. If they don't have it they can do an inter-library search and get it elsewhere. Are you US? It's done commonly here. I've gotten books out of state many times.

Thanks Lucky! That would be great! I based my current yak 3 instrument textures on one in a museum somewhere that wasn't too careful about what guages they stuck in there

What is the name of the book? What planes does it cover?

Lucky Stripes,

Have you something of that level of detail for the P40?

I'd appreciate it very much.

Aren't you tired of working on that Yak yet? I think you have the longest project running!
