Hey, just thought I'd use that to get everyone in here. Hee-hee!Seriously, I was just thinking about it, and I am very pleased and amazed at the incredible sportsmanship that was exhibited today by all the participants of the SDOE War. All pilots, whether Axis or Allied, whether participant or Poor Schmuck Who Got Talked Into Officiating This Damn Thing, made participating in this whole deal a real blast. Kudos to us. I personally feel everyone conducted themselves in a manner that should bring praise from ANY virtual community. We fly some rather complicated missions, in a rather complicated way, compounded by ctd's and all manner of complicated bugger-boos, and throught it all, we get it done in a proper, professional, well-mannered way. S! All. Long live this virtual war. May others learn from our standards. Mk10=225th= IP: Logged |

Yep, we have some great guys in SDOE, and many more have joined since the War has started. The War seems to have brought out the best in everyone, and also has given new life to flying the game online. Just go to the Calif server on the day of that weeks Campaign! Lot's O pilots! We are learning alot from this first War, and many new things will be seen in the next one. Hopefully the changes will make it even more fun, and challenging. Hats off to all the participants, for a great job so far! PR=FC= IP: Logged |

Spanky here... If there so many pilots why were the axis looking for more pilots for last weeks game or the one before? they only had 3 compared to the allied 10? IP: Logged |

Spanky; your numbers are way off, my friend. Either your calculator is broken, or your informant failed math. I have been present at every meet so far; I have yet to see a mission begin with the numbers you quote. And yes, it is true for the first mission of the day, sometimes one or the other side only has 6 or 8 pilots present..by the second mission, there are more pilots than slots to fill.------------------ nealg=FC= IP: Logged |

Spanks, I'd have to second Neal's emotion. Some of it may have had to do with the fact that folks found out me and Spyder would be flying on the Allied side. NOT! Hee-hee! Hey, how's it been going? Feel free to jump into the war. It's really pretty cool, and I think it's pretty much what you described a few months back that you'd want out of SDOE...mission-based action with an emphasis on realism. Hope all has been going well. Believe it or not, I miss your posts. Hugs, Mk10=225th= IP: Logged |

What's up Spanky! Good to see your post! Yea the Axis had only 4 pilots on the first mission of the day (we were ok on the others) but we wanted to give the Allies a chance to win one for a change JG3_Himdog outIP: Logged | |
