Couldn't resist taking these pics to post... as you can see, work on the Scharnhorst is progressing nicely.. I seem to have found and fixed the bug stopping the ships being placed together.. so all ships will be updated on my website over this weekend.

My appologies for the size of pics.. they looked crappy when I made them smaller. Hope you like them.. I especially like the forward pit view

some notes for when I release the ship(delayed a couple of days for remapping..

1. Very high obHits - please don't alter this, it's set high for a good reason and after alot of testing it's best for the ship
2. If you think it's to hard to sink, here is a tip... although the obhits are high, once the hull is onfire, it will sink.. one thing though, if yo only just did enough damage to make it burn, it will take 40 mins before it sinks yes, 40 mins, the sink time depends on your bombing, good hits, it'll sink pretty quickly... near misses.. it'll take a long time.
3. Why are the obhits so high - well, to produce some eye candy.. if I set it lower, then you wont see it burn, you wont get the added explosions, and it wont be a worthwhile mission. To attack and sink the Scharnhorst you must be accurate in your choice of aircraft and loadout, and also how maney aircraft you will send to sink it. I recomned for AI aircraft that 9 will do it.. work out the loadout and type for yourself though For player controlled aircraft (SDOE War or online multiplayer) then I'd expect 4 aircraft to do the job.. if you all get to drop your bombs that is... lol

well, I think thats all, thought I should point these things out, since some ppl have had trouble sinking the Yamato, which has less than half the obHits of this ship now.

I have a nuclear-tipped glider bomb

Frankly, real ships take a very long time to sink, take the Bismarck for example
