Yes, it works  It can glide for a loooooooong distance, even when released from 1500ft However, It disappears into thin air after 1 min of flight  This needs to be corrected before beta release, HELP!!!

you do realise ofcourse, that you are going to have to change the object to look like a torpedo now  Nice work on this... make it a torpedo damn you! Really though.. very cool  ~Nat~

Ok! Ok! Ok! After hours of testing different damage schemes (some worked but not well, some didnt work and the last two I tried tied) I FINALLY got this thing NOT to dissapear (at least not until 8000 seconds is up, and even this thing doesnt even stay in ther air that long) and explode on impact each time! Yahoo! And boy does this thing glide!!!! I swear if you get the angle right she stays aloft for 8 minutes! As soon as I touch up some last minute details I send it your way Crossbow.IP: Logged |

Well, I lined up the smoke with the engine, made it white and more transparent and added the fire cuz it looks so darn kewl! I also fixed it where it doesnt go up so much after release. Enable to get this thing to glid at its max distance, your release angle has to be just right. I also put a descent texture on it. Hope you dont mind, but I like this plane as a V1 launcher better. I used this plane for my old v1 project that you picked up. And now that the rocket pod has ben trimmed (thanks BTW!) I went ahead and put it on my launcher. Argon, THANKS A MILLION  I was thinking about putting the rack on top of the launcher, since it was going upwards after release. But now you have solved the prob  As for the fire, lol, its kewl. IP: Logged |

Pete Hawk, Jedi, FarmerJoe will touch up the rack, then we'll be sending the plane.The V1 does'nt clip the fuse that badly, compared to before Argon modified it  Jedi, sorry, I did'nt see your post at first  This mini-V1 is actually a glider bomb, but if you release it @ 1500ft its wing airfoil will generate enough lift to pull it level, so its like a sea-skimmer, until it stalls and detonates. Release it higher, and it'll go further. Just been playing with it for a while.. IP: Logged |

Glad you like it Crossbow. If you want to test out the going-up-after-releasing problem some more, change the weight of the sucker in OPS. I believe I have it set to phyLBS 50. The more the weight the more up it will go after release. This is because the inertia boxes make it tail heavy.IP: Logged |

Nat now that Semi Open Source is apparently becoming a reality perhaps a person working on the source could implement real torpedoes and floatplanes to you dont have to fake it.IP: Logged |
