Topic: SE5a second gun in Corsair padlock ?

Hi,I noticed in some planes a strange behaviour in padlock view.
It looks like the SE5a gun sliped into some cockpits. Especially in the Corsairs.
Here are some screenshots of it.
Is this the same for the rest of you ?

Looks like something is screwed up with my installation. Grrr, I dont want to reinstall. anyway thx for the reply.

Are all the screwed up cockpits from the ContestPak, like the Corsair and SE5? If so just try reinstalling it.IP: Logged |

I wouldn't reinstall ! Try to find out why you see this damn gun there. Look at the plane(s) in OPS and compare..LK IP: Logged |

I can verify that NO Lewis guns were installed in any of the Corsairs built by ME!Now, the SE-5 DOES use a canopy DOF to move its wing gun. And it may even have the same name for the DOF. But I can't see how that would get the MODEL of the Lewis gun into the Corsair model. There should be NO references of any kind in the Corsair to any part of the SE-5. Mustang, Lightning, Typhoon, perhaps, but no WW1 planes. In other words, that's pretty weird...

I looked into it with OPS and you cant see
that gun there. Same in normal view in the game. No gun. Only in padlock view. Also deleting all the cache files didn't help.Jedi, yeah it is really weired to see a WW1 gun in a WWII plane. May be I can figure out how to use it. Would be a nice surprise for some fights  Bakunin

That is not the Lewis from the SE5a... it looks like a B17 turret gun or something... or maybe the wanna-be Vickers from the SE5a fuselage...Strange... ------------------

Hehe now the Corsair pilot's head IS a gun (that's why it tracks targets), but the model is, of course, a head And it shouldn't appear outside the cockpit in any case...------------------

Jedi got it on the nose. In the early versions of Dirk he had a gun above his head that was hidden. Somehow in your version of the pilot for the Corsair the gun is visible again.I think that if you reinstall the Plane Pack that gave you the Corsair it should be fine. ------------------
