Hey guys, OK, the finished Hood is now posted, I've not gone overboard on the AA, but from the testing I've done, it'll be an expensive target to attack. I still think it sinks too easily, but I'm not really willing to put the obHits up any higher, unless ofcourse you guys give me some feedback and agree with me, so let me know if you think it's to easy aswell.. please don't tell me it's too hard to sink, I've done enough testing to know it's not  So, if you'd like the latest version, you'll find it in my Ground Units section, extract to your Vehicles folder. ~Nat~ ------------------

NatAnother fine piece of work! I played with it this morning. If anything it's to easy to sink. One bomb off a Zero and it was instantly gone. It does pack a powerful punch though.  Great job, as usual. Wish we had a larger body of water to sail it in. PR=FC= IP: Logged |

Thanls PR, it actually take the same damage as the Yamato, but I dunno, for some reason sinks easier... in testing a single 500lbs bomb sinks the Hood, thats why I was thinking of raising the damage level, well, I'd like to say we'll have a vvote on this, but I doubt maney ppl would bother, so I'll raise the damage level and repost later today.Darth, some do yes, but the movement isn't player controled. ~Nat~ IP: Logged |

I like manning the light flak turret at the stern The real Hood had thin deck armor, thats why it got sunk with 3 15 inch shells from the Bismarck, magazine explosion. Side and waterline armor was average for a battlecruiser. Guns of a battleship but armor of a cruiser. The damage level should be increased. Make it less durable than the Yamato. If it is possible add deck and hull armor, like the Tiger tank. Deck with thin armor compared to the hull. Just a suggestion IP: Logged |

without a really major rebuild having different armour isn't really an option  also, the way SDOE handles explosions (or doesn't should I say) means it would make no difference whatsoever, in anycase, I've hardend the ship up some more, and added some small AA to the ship. Atleast now you can't sink the Hood with 1 x 500lbs bomb. I'll be posting the latest version up on my site tomorrow, so don't go lookin for it yet.. lol~Nat~ IP: Logged |

OK, what I think will be the last update to the Hood is now posted, it's got a lil more AA, and a tougher hull, so no single hits sinking this one Also, in my Skins section under USA, is a new skin for the P51d by Sebula, it's a pretty cool skin, so go check it out ~Nat~
