I checked out the Farmer Joe's upgrade 4 the pony, but it's applied to the old model...who can add the new features to the new model?
I wanna start building planes too, I'd like to rebuild the old F-82 I downloaded some time ago, still waiting for good hints to start building...li'l ------------------

LB, I just got an updated 3D model from Zoycite, I will add Farmer Joe's gun jams to the new model. I have had a little trouble adding damage to the radiator and oil cooler, but will keep working on it. I will send Farmer Joe the updates when I get a few things fixed, that way he can be working on the updated model as well. Pang is still going to rework the FM, and I have some new tires to add from RazerWe hope to have a beta 2 out soon. ------------------

Hey, is anyone going to tune up the 190A4? It's kind of a shame that people avoid it like the plague now. Instead of having a few needed teeth pulled, it seems someone took them all away, and now it's all just a bunch of fleshy gums.It also seems to lose all it's power after one engine hit. Time after time I hear one "Blink!," and then I can get no more than 270kph. It was way, way too uber before...I'm just afraid there was a tad bit of an over-correction. Anyone else feel this way, or am I just living in some sort of weird fantasy world? Well, that's kind of a stupid question to pose on a Flight Sim Forum. Let me try it this way: Does anyone feel the same way about the FM of the 190A4? Mk10=225th= IP: Logged |

What bothers me is being unable to kill the 109 at all. Its like it's made of depleted uranium. I shoot the entire .50 cal ammo load of a p51 into them and they don't even get damaged,same with the spit. TS [This message has been edited by Tailslide (edited 07-06-2000).] IP: Logged |

I have been doing some reading on the 38.... guess what? The 38 was capable of pulling away from both the 190 and 109G's with ease... this is substantiated by both german and american pilots.... BTW, this is at lower (E.G. less than 20K).
As I get more, I will post it......

I agree Tailslide the 109 is almost impossible to kill. It just slowly becomes unflyable.I don't mind the new 190a4. It's certainly not easy to fly now though. IP: Logged |

Now that OPStudio can handle probability statements I gave the planes new engine DM's with fuel leaks, fires, etc. Haven't tested it online but heres some new Yak3, 190a4, spit1a, spitv FM's for offline play and testing.. the takeoffs are much easier, AI handles em good now. In flight should be the same, except the spit should bleed more speed now.

Mirth, I think you are right.. here are some numbers I found:310mph sea level - g6 combat
322mph sl - g6 emergency power
345mph sl - p38 WEP
