I sent Ol' Pete Hawk a copy of the F-86 to take a look at (and maybe help me with my DOF problems)  ...He went and took this snapshot (cuz he just had to!)... I'm thinking ... someone should contact Pete and take that Mig off his hands and get it fully FS compliant! (I would but quite frankly the development of the F-86 has nearly driven me to heavy drinking!!!!! ... I think the F-86 will be my first "and last" foray in to the realm of FS model development!) Come-on you wanna-be's .... jump in head-first like I did and give my Saber something to shoot at!  Oh crap ... almost forgot the pic!

totally irrelevant but i'm having a great time hear in N,Ireland. Riots, shootings, paramilitaries, RAF helicopters out in force.

yes i'm goin campin wif mo frends next week.
In 1995-7 it was great. the army was all over the place. seriously, they had these class armoured yokes. and then one night here in armagh during a riot some guys opened up at the army with an AK-47. the best thing that happened to me was, I was at the shop and and then i walked off home. unfortunatley,this van came speeding down the road. a few masked men got out, blocked the road with the van, petrol bombed it. and ran off. of course this happens 3 ft in front of me, so i have to walk all the way around town. Zurawski,A bit early for this maybe ...... But when you finish it I'll give ya a hand to mod it to a CAC Sabre. Main differences:
Twin 20mm Aden cannons, no MGs.
Sidewinders (I know we can't....yet)
Slightly larger air intake
Rolls-Royce Avon engine (3400 kg static thrust) Plus heaps of good skins What ya reckon? Cheers, ------------------

..AGAS-5,Sounds great! (I was actually planning on doing a CAC as a sort of "gift/tribute" for Tailslide as he had/has helped me so much with flight modeling and has quite frankly become what I consider a "good friend" RE: ton's of skins .. Yup ... actually, there are about 20+ contries that used the F-86 in one guise or another ... I see that as 20+ potential skins! (not to mention all the different squadron markings) I'd love to do this mate! IP: Logged |

compliments Zur, it looks simply stunning, I've kept quiet about it so far (didnt want to add to the preassure to finish it.. heh) but it looks great, and in life was one of the most stunning a/c to ever be built IMHO.
