Army, Im just guessing at this, but this is what Ive come to understand. I believe the "rocket motors" are really just airfoils that are activated when the rocket or such detaches from the parent plane. I know VERY little about airfoils, but this is what I believe "launches" the rocket. Look at the Func property of one of the airfoils of the rocket in OPS. Under that there should be an activate property and then the airfoils and such that are activated once the rocket becomes detached. Now on the MAIN body of the rocket there should be an onDetach and then a obExec property. And in that, the word Name and what the name of the airfoil object is. Then below that the word Func and activate as activate is the Func used to "turn on" the airfoils.

Actually, I think what happens is that anything that is specified as a "rocket" in the loadout.ppf is given a rocket boost on launch. The model itself doesn't have "rocket" characteristics, even though you call it a "CRocket." If you load an old tire on a rocket pylon and tell the loadout file it's a rocket...you'll get a rocket tire

Pretty sure the rocket boost itself is coded into the sim

I think that the burn time was stated as 5 seconds@ 1,400 lbs of thrust. You might want to try to put more rocket engines on the thing.
