"aircraft/weapons/tacnuke.sm"

feedback for any other modifications on the bogged down 262 and its load for next releases are welcome

i'm working on a unmarked 262 skin and a more LW-like bomb paint

Army Puke, I think what you are doing is pretty kewl. Its by no means realistic, but its darned kewl. I attempted a similar idea with the V1 but could not get good enough results for me. My idea was to have the VI a guided missile that launched off the Ju-188. Unfourtunatly the things engine would not turn on once it was released and due to the way the bombs are attached to the plane... the V1 clipped thru the Ju-188s fuse. It glided quite nice and did not freeze the game once it hit the ground and blew up. I was wondering if you could add your nuke to the Ju-188? and also... I could send you my V1 files and you could possibly get them to work on the Ju-188 or Ju-88? I would love to see the V1 used as a guided missle. I'll start up more work on this as Ive had some inspiration these pase few days.

The Me262 is the fastest plane around, so i chosen it to be the 'fast' nuclear bomber.

I can attach the nuke to the Jus without any problem except getting them to takeoff it weighs 8000 with a warhead of 6500, just heavy enough to feel the shockwave after dropping the nuke in the 'modern'way, loft delivery.

Sure, send me the V1. I can play with it in OPS, for experimentation.

OMG! triple post, sorry.

Why not put a crew member into the V1? When you start teh mission switch to the V1, when the AI releases it fire it up and fly off. Use AC3d to add 2 rails on top of the V1's engine attached to the fuse, and make that rail the attach point for the JU's pylon. Make sure it doesnt touch teh ground though.
i havent registered my copy od ac3d yet

I dont think theres anything called obIRseeker in OP

Army Puke, I'll send you the v1.sm file. Youll have to make a loadout for the v1 and add it to your startup.ppf file. Its not nuclear yet so you wont blow yourself away. The V1 started out with a crew member, but it did not work and the it was WAY too big. Its scaled down and glides but when it gets above a certain speed it "giggles" thru the air. I dont have my AC3d regestered yet too.
