I purchased and returned the sim when it initially shipped, mainly due to the now well known bugs and flight model. I just happened to stumble upon this site and see it's quite an active community. Should I give this sim another try? Have the bugs and flight model been corrected? I see there's even a war currently in progress. Howard IP: Logged |

The FM's are in a continual state of rework. The are much closer now that when the game first came out. In addtion you have a large number of add on planes to chose from as well. Some of these surpassed the original in modelling, FM and texturing! Plus adding damage modeling no one had thought of...You can play the standard planes, WWI planes, a Go229, more WWII tighters from the Corsair to the He100. A B25 is coming, a PBY is coming, the Dauntless is coming plus more fighters. By all means try it again! Is it bug free? No, but no software is. Is it among the best on the market? There are a number of people here who think so, in spite of the fact that over a year ago it was said that this sim was dying.

we also got some nice ships Yes, for the price of SDOE today, and the time spent downloading all the updates/addons, I reckon it's well worth it, it's 100% better than when first released, no not perfect, but better, and still being improved upon.. as I'me sure you've seen here. Again, worth getting  ~Nat~
