Pe-2, He-111, Lancaster modifications, B-29 (is this project still on?) and I think that's it. IMO when the fighters are released and the creators are happy with them (all bugs fixed, FM and DM...) I do believe a few Jap bombers would be the next great step. There are some WWI heavies in the works such as the Handley Page 0/400, AEGIII. If I missed anything please speak up.

Somehow I think heavy bombs might make kill future incarnations of SDOEwar... I mean hey, the weren't using tallboys against villages, ya know. Anyhow, that aside. hehe, T34. Ya, I have the files on the HD, if there's anybody who wants 'em, speak up, because it's at the end of my sdoe to-do list which could mean a loooooong time before I even discover I wasn't cut out to do OP. Archy's done some amazing stuff with the Tiger, if you're looking for a template/some inspiration.

The Catalina is definately in the works. I am not sure what you are defining as a heavy, cause the Cat only carried 4000 lbs of ordinance. Its a big bird though.

I agree with Werner. Large bombs have no place in this game.

At the same time, I honestly dont think the flak from the Japanese destroyer (or Yamamoto) was able to reach 5-7 miles out.... Make the connection?

Snickers - yup, the IJN loaner was disproportionately powerful. I hope that in SDOEwar II naval assets are reined in. As much as it was nice to have in Africa that last time, it took the immersiveness down a few notches for me. Hey, we may be 'Germans' but we're people too.

*shudder* Next thing ya know I'll be hugging Snickers...

Archy's tank is a nice start toward a total war. It should be included in the next mazor release.

Nat, I know you tried your best. (pretty darn best, Ive never seen ships that look that good in a sim) There are issues about what the game interprets and this is none of your wrong doing.

BTW Nat... what ever happened to the gallion? Ive heard nothing since.

in my restful period away from SDOE the gallion has been shelved.. maybe only for now, but since the Allied forces have requested a capital ship for the war, I'm completeing work on the HMS Hood, a pic of it is below. It wont be bristling with AA guns, since I'm just getting it operational for the Allies, rather than accurate, but it should be out in a few days, I'll post again once it's complete and posted.

The pic aint very good, it's one I took to show Bryan a bug I'm getting in OPS

Nat

She looks sweet!

I'm sure the Allies will be grateful when the Hood can be addded to their arsenal of weapons.

Almost as happy as I'll be when a future version of the War has a new theatre to add to the big 3 we have.....something with LOTS of water maybe.

Thanks for all your hard work! I promise you it is appreciated.
