No problem Bulldog:Hotlist is another of my useless utils that allows you to download from the net the lastest news/files and webpage links that are known (to me) so you can see at a glance where or what to grab. I maintain the list currently but may pass that on to someone else later. I wrote this to point the new guys to files they may not be aware of and to direct them to the online standard. This version includes the downloading of the most recent Startup.ppf file that has caused a few headaches in the past for the new guys. The downloadable startup.ppf file is maintained by Dogma and it was his idea in asking if I could add this support to Sdoe Hotlist, thanks to Dogma for providing the time to setup this facility on FS com. Another button directs people to this webpage at Fs com for the purpose of adding newly created plane airfoils/data. This way everyone need not fear overwriting their existing startup.ppf file by adding an older plane zip or the like and removes the need to include said file in future plane zips. Just download the latest startup.ppf file and it should/will contain all known aircraft produced so far. If anyone has a link or file that should be included in the hotlist, please email me. ------------------ IP: Logged |

And it will direct you to the Bureau of Silly Walks, but sadly lacks the Dead Parrot sketch..... I use it myself, and recommend it to anyone who asks me about what files are needed, etc. It is really a dang handy utility, great for those new to the sim, but just as useful for veterans and old stupid guys, like me! ------------------ nealg=FC= IP: Logged |

personaly, I'd like to see you and tail combine hotlist and beeper, yes I know we could all have both, I just think it'd be cool to have an "all in 1" prog like thisIP: Logged |

You know..... I can't think of anything the hotlist is missing. it has everything. Nice job! although it would be cool if you could get tail's beeper to work in there like Nat suggested. I think this program needs to be advertised on the "help for newbies" page of FS.com. it really is a must have for "newbies". IP: Logged |

The problem there is Tail wrote his in a different language. It would mean I would have to write in my own version but I don't want to tread on his good work there. The other option is to launch the beeper internally but that doesn't do away with extra files. Option 2 could be, show Tail's server page inside the list window. I'll try that and see how it goes.IP: Logged |
