Is there another way to install the 1.5 patch. When I try to use the RTPatch I keep getting errors.If it is possible can someone send me the updated files? Kurt1c97@aol.com. If you could help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanx

First off, you need to have installed the older 113 Kb patch before using 1.5, but assuming you have done that, you also need to have the original keyboard.inp file present - not a modified one.

Rename your current "keyboard.inp" file to something like "mykeyboard.inp", then place the original "keyboard.inp" file in your fighter squadron directory (I'll be mailing it to you), apply the patch, and then delete the original "keyboard.inp" and rename "mykeyboard.inp" to "keyboard.inp" so you get back your customized joystick and keyboard settings.

1.5 includes all of the changes of the previous patch, so the previous one is unnecessary.

Did you try running at least one mission of some kind prior to installing the patch?

I seem to recall this was necessary for the installer to find the correct path/files to patch.

You can install the 1.50 patch directly after installing Fighter Squadron without ever having played it.

Was fighter Squadron previously installed ? Could it be that you uninstalled the game but didn't delete the directory afterwards ?
