For a "full tank" in mission editor, how many pounds of fuel do you put in for each plane:

If you want to give each plane a HALF tank of fuel, you need to know how much in a full tank for each aircraft so as, for example, to give the home base aircraft a bit of a weight advantage.

Does it matter for full tanks? In the sense that if I put in 1000 pounds and the tanks only take 800, then the 800 is put in and the rest ignored? Just on initial fiddling with 1000 pounds, the performance of the aircraft is not that much different (as best I can judge) compared with say 800 pounds.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Mark, I made a chart of fuel loads (gallons and pounds) for each plane. I will Post it later tonight. It includes the latest plane packs, contest pack and WW I pack.

Cool Raider I look forward to this.

If you want a default full tank without referring to the tables that Raider uses just enter zero (by default) for the fuel load. This results in a full tank.

Entering zero gives you 100lbs of fuel.

ok my missions i make as these maps are so small ie enemy fighters didnt usually intercept bombers, engage them and follow them home and shoot them down when the landed especially germans whom had little fuel to spare in the war.
Lanc and B17 -1500 lbs fuel
Mossie 800 lbs
p-38 -600 lbs
all other fighters 300-600 is always more then enough and i like to have people get used to they have to go home and land.
the only above exception is the me262 which being the pig it is u must give it 1000-1200 lbs for decent range granted in real life it had the same prob too.

Here is a link to the SDOE Fuel Loadouts. I did this back in March so I need to add some of the new WW I planes.

If you see anything that is not correct, please let me know and I will make the adjustment.
