It's currently ongoing! Here is another sequence from the the 3rd mission in todays Campaign. Rhineland 1 This P51 pilot had tough duty, and the Axis got some punches in on his Big Friend. PR IP: Logged |

Hey..that's me I landed once but then those dirty dog Axis pilots were strafing so Spyder and I took off again and Werner went away running Guess we intimidated him LOL... so we landed again...no kills... but I made it home alive! Us Allies are outnumbered in some of these missions though...ouch!------------------ Brought to you by the campaign for a better Dauntless! IP: Logged |

This B17 pilot was on a wing and a prayer. Engines lost and gliding toward his home base. All he needs is alittle luck.... Guess he didn't have anymore luck left. PR IP: Logged |

Yeah that was me, got to within 3 miles of target, got hit on all 4 engines, turned back with all engines on fire then they dropped off, so had a nice pleasant glide with another attack taking out an elevator. Saw the runway and dropped landing gear, what landing gear!!!!, carried on for belly landing which had worked before but even a gentle touch on the ground blew here up.Great!!!! when they get me back together Im flying again (a fighter this time I think). Oh yes thanks for the backup Jeeves. In a later mission I lost 2 engines, an elevator and got other engines smoking but made it back in less than a thousand pieces. IP: Logged |

Well...not much of a back-up Commando...but I was trying...the Pony had a real hard time keeping up with those 262's...as can be attested by the 15 minute chase of Werner Molders by me and Spyder...can we get a Gloster Meteor or something? ------------------ Brought to you by the campaign for a better Dauntless! First off I see just before I crashed that I had been already credited with a kill so it wasn't all in vain.Secondly Mrs Commando is now destitute and in need of some hard cash, War Dept when is the first pension payment due and HOW MUCH.
