There was a "static" Stuka I think. As I recall, there isn't one on the board now.
They would make a nice target though!

Holy Moly mposis! That is looking very nice. I don't know how I missed it on my last trip to your site. If you need any help with the OpenPlane side of things, don't hesitate to ask! Also, after the Stuka is done, a Val will be that much easier to work on won't it :-)

Targets ! Wohahhaaa

Model looks good ! The big "frontside-air-intake" is not modelled yet ? Of course it needs some more details ! Hurry up man ! What version is this ? G2 ? Huh ? Its not in my book (shitty book eh ?). Could you model a Ju87B-2 ? More questions: How much polys etc ???

charmstar,

Thanks for the offer but I will manage.

Laika,
This is a Ju87 G2. It has 835 polygons right now. The Ju87 B2 has a completely different fuselage and canopy. I think Panzer is doing that. Sorry, but I don't hurry.

Mission designers, take heed!

I see some ground attack "Mixed Tanks"-like missions in the future.

Escorted by 109F's, attacked by Vb's?

It will be well worth the wait Mposis. I can't wait to fire those anti-tank guns.

I wonder how far Panzer is on his version.

Regarding Panzer. I had a conversation over email with Roadtoad a while back when I made a similar inquiry, only to discover that all of Panzer and Roadtoad's projects are, for all intents and purposes, stopped indefinitely. My understanding is (and correct me if I'm wrong Rdtd) that Panzer will never recover to the state of health he was before his trip to the hospital and because of that will likely not continue work on things sdoe. Roadtoad has also been sidelined by 'real' life matters. Roadtoad also told me that anyone who wants to pick up the stuka project is welcome to email him and he'll send the files.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news guys...

Werner

mposis -

I dont know if you guys (all you terrific creators) get sick of hearing it (or if you hear it enough), but thanks for the countless hours you put into the objects, etc... you create for the game. I doubt you do it just for us - but your work is really appreciated. Thanks!!

rattlesnake,

Thanks. Though I make the objects for myself it always feel good to be appreciated. I am thankful for Openplane because if I want something in the game, I can always build it.

Actually, I was building the J2M Raiden but I finally found a cheap Ju87D/G book so I decided to build it instead.

835 polys ! Thats good ! Wings are 2 objects (inner and outer wing) ??

Fine ! Sorry - but hurry up ! I want to see this plane in the next time

One thing - Was the G2 version used often in the War ? My book says that version G1 is just version D5 without those flaks below the wings. Anyway - good work, have fun with texturing it
