Does anyone know if there are any live/finished projects on water planes?

I saw a pictures on one of Snickers replys...

Was wondering if anyone knew anything about it?

we're still working on it Newbie (do change that name.. lol) No projected finish date as yet though sorry, but I hope you know that it wont actualy be amphibious unless there is a major breakthrough in the game soon

(Yes, lets change the name.....) Nat has already answered but I'll throw in my .02 as well. Building a plane for SDOE is not as easy as building a plane for MSFS. The amount of data required is amazing and difficutl to colloect on planes that have been out of production for many years.

Even so, work on a PBY-5A is under way.
There enough diciplines involved that only very unique people can build a plane by themselves (you guys know who I am talking about). It turning out best to for teams of 3 to 5 individuals to work on a plane.

Right now SDOE does not support water landings. Something I hope we can either work around, or Michael Harrison will fix in the next sim .
