After having tried with XOOM, FORTUNECITY and GEOCITIES (15MB!!)...I'm da*** pi**!

You say 'but it's for free'! Good point. But the service should work in the end!
I always had a '..could not be reached' on these providers (ftp won't work, etc, etc)!

So I finaly changed/moved my whole site to:
http://www.stas.net/a872148/

I've no idea if this will work better, but they don't place these stupid banner-stuff into your page.
Well I still have the 'MIRROR' links on my first page, in case XOOM and the other's will work in the next couple of years.

Any other good providers (free, unlimited)???

Any ideas??

thanks

Spanky here...

What about your ISP? I know my present one only gives 5 megs with the internet account, but my old one gave 20 free and even when I was using more then 40 they never charged me any extra for it. I don't think they bother tracking so as long as don't go crazy and use a gig then it should be cool.

Funny thing is that even though I suspended that account while I'm in a big ISP limbo. My pages still run. I just don't have access to update them.

does your isp give you free web space?

I also would like to hear of a good free company that lets you do links outside your site so you can still post pics here and sig pics.

I don't mind ads on the page but I would rather avoid popup windows.

Sig pic brought to you for free by my old ISP
