I live in Southampton UK - where the Spit was born. Last weekend there was an airshow over the nearby estuary and it featured 13 Spits (and a hurricane) in formation. The Sound man, the Sound!

a while ago my dad led a fomation of 16 spits in a flypast at duxford his grin when he got out of that plane was big and i mean big.
top that then!:-)

Oh, sweet life!! You fortunate people, to have been able to see that. Lord, I think I'm drooling....I don't suppose there is a site that might have pictures, and/or...dare I say it....sounds??
www.geocities.com/jheleno/index.html is one site I have found that has some great stuff on Spits, and 109's. If anyone knows of any others, please let me know..
