1 version had a low-recoil 75mm cannon ripped out from a M24 Chaffee light tank in the nose. And its operational!

That puny 75! The '25 was also fitted with a converted howitzer of 105, repeat 105, bloody milimetres.Someone claimed the plane stood still when it fired. Each shell was 21 inches long. The gunship had, in addition to eight nose-guns, two in the top turret, which could be fired forwards, and two more along the fuse under the cockpit. And, as if that's not enough: 10 5 inch rockets under the wings. Now, THAT'S what i call a ground pounder!

Who'd need bombers in missions with an A-25 like that around?

Need to take out a building or bridge? No problem, use the Mobile Artillery Platform.

Oooo-eeee.

Yes, that would be a great plane to have. I'm glad to see I am not the only one who wants this plane.
Been my favorite attack bomber ever since I was kid.
In my home town (San Angelo Tx.) there was a B-25 mounted on a 20' pedestal at Concho River Park. I use to beg my parents to take me down there to look at it all the time!
Needless to say, I would fly it constantly in SDOE.

Asked for a B-25 for a long time, hope to see it. I have tons of photos as theirs one stationed 12 blocks away from my house at the Salem, Oregon airport. I get a ride J for helping the mechanics out as a gopher in my spare time. This weekend 06/10/00 there's going to be a Liberator and B-17 here with it!
Oh the sound they make hmmmm…

Here a photo of my Dad at the shop hang out.

hope I did this right...

Von, look for me this weekend. I'll be working the 8th AF Historical Society table for the Collings Foundation planes, most likely Sat. PM. I'll have a name tag if I'm just wandering around.
