Just a little something I built. It's just one lod now and I imported it over the p-80 and went flying.
Despite the ungainly appearance, make no mistake guys: This thing was a speed demon.
It was faster than the F-86 Sabre and took the world speed record from it back in 50-something.
What is it? It's the SAAB J-29 Flying Barrel (Tunnan) and believe it or not, the type saw action in Kongo. Scenery guys, we need Kongo now!

Anyways, if someone wants to pick up on it i'll be devoting my efforts to 3d modelling only from now on. Next is a J-35 Draken.

That's pretty sweet kraft. Are you going to put the P-39 on hold till this is finished?

Ey, Kraft: The designation for the Barrel was the J-29 - the Draken was the J-35. The J-21 was a twin-boomed jet job. The Draken was in service with the Finnish and Danish airforces until very recently, even though it's more that 40 years ol'.

Looks cool Kraftwork! Nice job.

Zur, email me at c5fe@hotmail.com and I'll send you another present (unfinished) to fly against your F-86

That seems to be my only working email from home for the moment.

Kraftwerk, I hate to be the 'messerschmitt', but it's the J29 Tunnan and the J35 Draken, jot J21 and J29, respectively ... :-D

Way to go, Kraftwerk!

Tunnan was/is a very beautiful plane and you seem to have got the shapes just right. I looked at one up close yesterday and it really has a barrel-like body. Standing in front of it and looking through the air intake itīs absolutely smooth, and way back you see the fan on the engine.

Iīd love to have a copy of it if thatīs possible, but since Iīm busy doing the J21 myself I donīt think Iīll do any OPS work on it.

Hey, Hawk, I'm having fun slaughtering JU88s with your A4 Skyhawk and F14D
Cool Gatlings on those jets.
