Great ! What's that long red thing haHAHAhahaoooo, maybe its Jeeves red pill ??One thing I think about are the instruments. It would be good if we could use both the same textures to save texture RAM (but I'm afraid your's are not compatible with the I-16). Could we work it out somehow so that I we can use the same textures with the Pe2 ? LK IP: Logged |

The long red thing was for close-in fighting and ground attacks; you grabbed the black hose thingy, opened the canopy, and leaned out to KABONG!! your opponent. It was a Russian inwention.

Thats the ticket.. dibs on the "K" key for KABONG !! hehe Laika, sure, I pointed all my guage textures at cockpit/rus so it should be pretty easy to merge.. where did you get the info for your guage faces? The pics I have do not have cryllic writing in the center but my pics may be wrong. The Russians kept the same guages for a LONG time, some of the ones on the Yak were in use on other planes for 20 years. TS IP: Logged |

Some gauges are just phantasie (as long as we have no real pics to compare...), but i.e. the altimeter has writing in the middle of the instrument (at least in "IL-2 Sturmovik" and in some instrument pics I found in the net -> "wuisota"). I assume you have the cockpit pis of the YAK 52 ?? The main problem is that I use quadratic "instruments" - so the textures I use should have a single coloured "background". You used the "normal" round instruments right ? so normally it would be no problem - we just had to discuss which instruments we can share and wich not...I'll mail you ! LK IP: Logged |

This is looking really nice! Is the Yak close to being done? I notice you haven't switched to the status graphic the other guys are using :-) I'm just looking forward to playing with the final version, and also to see which project you end up working on next!charm IP: Logged |

It's mostly done, just needs some testing. There are still some features I'd like to add to the yak, I'll probably do one more version after this one then start in on the variants (Yak 1,7,9, etc). TS ------------------ Patch It! TS Aircombat
