Hello all.Just a quick request to everyone to please think about where their posts belong. General fills up fairly quickly and posts about Janes, help with the game and such really do have better homes such as Off Topic and Help/Faq I know that means that some people (myself included) have to check more forums, but it also means you don't have to wade through as many messages (especially if you can skip an entire forum you have no interest in) to find the ones you are interested in. Spanky here.... MH, I think the problem is that this is the only forum most people visit. Barly anyone visits off topic. and people looking for help don't get it in the help section. I hear ya though. IP: Logged |

Spanky: I think "most" people come in here because they've learned that many people use General as a catch-all even when there's a better place. Over time, General has become more of a catch-all than it was intended to be. It's a catch-22 that I'd like to reverse (at least a little bit). Also... People *do* get help in the help section but not everyone who can help goes there, so sometimes it can take longer to get an answer.Tail: I see the wink, so I know it's a friendly jab. I try to answer all the "questions" posted on the fsbeta forum but sometimes I miss them. It's perfectly alright to post again to bring the topic to the top (although I ask that one wait a day before doing so ). Also, I haven't yet made checking that board a habit like this one is, so a day or three has gone by at times before I check for new posts. I'll work on that. sv: Probably, but if people are throwing their trash on the grass, it doesn't do much good to put a sign on the trashcan (not a literal example of what I'm talking about here, I'm just trying to make a point).
