We had at one point 8-10 pilots last night and it sure was nice to get into bed at a good hour. We had great missions, thanks Spin, and something that I loved was the fact that we could accomodate our Australian buddys at this time too. Anyway thanks to all and lets keep it going. any suggestions on a set day and time would be appreciated.IP: Logged |

Spin that was a great mission, first rate We also had der boom from the Netherlands. I can not thank everyone enough about showing up and having a great time last night. We are going to try our best to keep the early time going. The next time I would like to setup is this coming Friday(June 2) at 7:00pm EDT on Cali12, again this is (I think) 5 hours behind GMT for our friends across both ponds I hope all you flyers out in sdoe land can join us in a lot of fun. I do have some questions: 1) I'm going to install Spyder's multiplay missions but is there a way to know in quick way what kind of mission it is? Like is it a furball, a bombing mission, ect? I'm thinking with 250 missions you could get lost. 2) Spin, did you make that mission we did last night? Do you have other ones like that one too? Is there a way I can get those from you? Or even better, Spin just show up on Friday night so we can do those great missions again Ok, my suggestion on a set day and times during the week are: Monday 7:00pm to 9:00pm EDT Tuesday 7:00pm to 9:00pm EDT Friday 7:00pm to whatever it's the weekend EDT If anyone would like to suggest a different weekday instead of the ones above please do so. Right now we are trying to feel this out. We want as many people as we can get. Please feel free to post here or email me on any suggestions. We will post again on the set times everyone agrees on. Remember this Friday(June 2) at 7:00EDT on cali12, we'll cya there and again Thanks everyone for last night. Cheers Himdog out IP: Logged |

Yes I made that mission. Yes I can make more of them. I have dozens available. If you check your multiplayer mission directory any file with (429) at the start is usually mine. I don't create furball missions, one side always has a target and objective. The other is to defend. Getting a win message for the attacking side requires a clear victory. I should pack up my favorites some time.I'm hoping to continue my campaign soon, it's stuck at Mission 4 as I can never seem to get the right mix online to run it. The one time we ran it I CTD'ed when my hurri crashed just near the end of the mission and I wasn't able to get the results. It is a great mission though so I look forward to trying again. I enjoy these because the missions are always new and usually played once only. The availability of the early WWII planes has really made the balanced feel work well now. I hope one day to follow this campaign through the evolution of the planes and changes in relative power of the sides. I usually spend about 5 seconds making them and if you want my "secret" just ask, I'll send you my Excel file that does it for me. A word of warning though, anyone who's received it has apparently never used it or figured out how to. At least they've never come back to me saying it works one way or the other for them. Anyone who would like to take a stab at porting it into C or some other handy programming language, please step up and volunteer. I'll try to join Friday, but it's hard for me to get there before 9:00 EDT. IP: Logged |

Spin: I would love to take stab at turning your Excel file into an app. Could you send it to astromatt@home.com[This message has been edited by Dumah (edited 06-01-2000).] IP: Logged |

Spin, I'm not into Furballs too, your missions with an target and objective is what we are after, they are the most fun by far. I'll check my multiplayer dir for 429. Send your excel file to me and I'll see if I can figured it out before Friday. Thank you so much on this. I hope to see you on Friday and hopefully if we have the right mix we can get past that mission 4 And yes, you do need to pack up your favorites, if they are anything like last nights mission its a must have for online use. Thanks again. Himdog outIP: Logged |

Guess it's time to bang the drum for missions again.Anybody who can make really neat, "mission-oriented" missions, please host a lot on cal12 so everyone can get them. If you're not into online flying, but still think you can design some neat missions that would work well with online play, please let us know, and e-mail'em to somebody who will share, or post them on your website. Still having ground bug problems. Last night in "Mixed Tanks" Spyder saw all enemy tanks down, and I still saw three. I even watched him blast away at a tank, and it went down in his world, but not in mine. So, let's get'em out to the public. Also, if there are any good mission for 4 players, that would be good too. Right now most of the 4-bangers I have are furballs. Mk10=225th= IP: Logged |
