OK so i'd likke to start a project maybe ,to build a plane I thought about various big German planes and may try one later but what I would like to try is maybe A BIG
UGLY BIRD LIKE A B29 there is already a JAP
interceptor around to try a stop it but I would need a terrian representing AN eastern
city ,bad taste I here you say but what if
the ENOLA GAY had been shot down BY japanesse fighters ?for the project I figure I NEED 1. someome to build the city terrain
2.someone to develop a H-BOMB EFFECT Ihave no idea how!3.help in building B29 spacificaly the ENOLA GAY any one INTERESTED?

Yes, the B29 would be the biggest bird in our game!!! I can give u tons of tecnichal infos...I have lots of pics too, u just gotta ask... About the bomb, I posted the same msg somewhere, they sent me a place to dload it, but i wasn't able to let it work...anyway, if u need any help, feel free to e mail meli'l out ------------------

Someone built an untextured B-29 a while back, I have one in my missions editor. Check to see if you have the same, if not I'll see if this one can be emailed...

If you are successful in building the B-29, it will take you a looooonng time. I'm sure if you get a nice one in the game, somebody will help you out with a terrain :-) The H-Bomb explosive force is easy: just give a bomb an extremely large explosive. I don't know that doing the mushroom cloud thing is doable though. Still, the terrain and the bomb should be the least of your worries. In fact, you might even want to start by making a ground object as sort of a, "hello world!", before you start on such a monsterous project.good luck!

THANKS for the interest ,and hey when it comes to building models my hello world book can be found at starfleet battles to starfleet command go there and view the
shipyard files youll find 30 or so of the 90 models I have made to dat! yes IM very interested in any unfinnished models already
available so please post me and ill havve agood look,I figured you might be able to doctor the normal bombs ,but the cloud is realy needed ,just how to do it needs some real research ,THE enola gay HERSELF WAS NO
STANDARD B29 having been stripped of much of her armerment ,anyhow please pass on any info

One way to fake a mushroom cloud would be to have the cloud unhide as part of the damage routine in a ground object you are bombing. TS IP: Logged |

I just made the Fatman bombs warhead 5000 and the explosion was good enough for me. I dropped it at 15,000 ft. and the shockwave got me after a while (20 sec.) It would be kewl however to have the cloud.P.S. Yes I figured out to add a new bomb loadout to a plane all by myself. So when you edit the mission is says "Fatman Abomb" and it really loads up the fatman. Pretty kewl considering I dont know too much about editing anything. (Off topic?) Well, after reading this thread, a question comes to my mind. Excepting the fact that to build a B29 stinking its poisonous fungus is not a piece of cake, what is the interest of the entertainment? Only one shot and GAME OVER?!? The baby dropped, what could be the fun of the game? If the cold war must arrive in this game, it will be arm in arm with Enola Gay...

YOU MISS THE POINT THE IDEA OF THE PROJECT IS MORE A STUDY OF WHAT IF ! IN 1945 THE JAPANESSE HAD SHOT DOWN THE ENOLA GAY BEFORE SHE DROPPED THE BOMB ! AND ITS TO THAT END

Seen under this angle, if it's about a documentary study, a sight of the spirit, then why not.
I don't have anything against. After all each game must have its boss of end of level.
In any case, I'm badly placed to criticize the interest (technical and historical), I know just that will spend much time to carry it out. I am not a modeller and I do not even intend to test.
As for fighting against, indeed Charm, that can be funny, as much as flying a fly to fight against a bomb of Flytox  .
That being said, I do not make a point of starting a flame because it's not at all my intention. Thus, GHOST, I will follow with much interest your projections on this project. Without resentment. Good luck and good flight!

I think we're losing the meaning of this game...
It's fun, simulation (nostalgia maybe?), but the idea of building a b29 with an H bomb doesn't mean we're all killers!!! By the way, the b 17 and fighters did a "good job" too, so don't go on blamin the 29, it's just a game...I hope the one we fight in our game would be the only war in the world...Peace Li'l IP: Logged |

I would prefer a B29 loaded with 100lb incendaries and 15+ .50cal MGs instead of and unarmed B29 with a A bomb.
