i can't get online well i can realy
this is what happends.
1 i go to fs:sdoe server listing i seeif some one iss online if they arewell i
2 load up fs go to netwok and press internet
i go to the server that the persone was on and then te lobby but nobody is there .
damn! i say to my pc.
i have got all the nessacery downloads ithink.
1 patch 1.5
2 plane pack 5.3 and the patch
3 i have the contest pack off planes ans stuff.
but it wont work.
am i being dense or is it a comon problem. ------------------

Biggles3;Depends; if the person you saw in the lobby has entered a game, and the game has launched, you will see no one. If a game has started but not yet launched, you will see it listed - simply click on the game name, then click on 'JOIN' to enter the player's game. You might consider getting Tailslide's SDOE Beeper, which will alert you when other players are in the lobbies. http://tailslide.firelight.dynip.com

no tryde it and reinstalled fs no luck
i seems as iff i have a problemm with setup could i be running a different vershon of the game or somthing.

Spanky here... Hi man. If your go to a server after it said with beeper or on a server listing page that people are online and you don't see anyone. It just means they are in a game right now. You can't see people that are in a game except with beeper or a server listing. IP: Logged |

i don't understand
there is no games at all i cant join eny games.and on the lobby it said 0/30 witch means there is nobody there please put it to me in lamens terms.

Spanky here... Well if there0/30 then ya there's nobody on. There's only people on latenight in north america. Theres never anyone on during the day. Its actually a great online set up as long as you realize that you can't see people in a game.

Biggles3;If you have the sim installed as you show above, then you should be working fine. One thing you might do is check the little graphic window after you have selected Internet; on the screen that shows the servers ( also on the screen that shows the Lobbies ), at the top right hand corner - some may be on the left?? - should be a little window with a plane, blue sky, etc. A caption should appear there that says Plane Pack 5.3b; if it doesn't, there may be your problem. You might also check to be sure you have the 1.5 patch only, and not the 1.5.1 or later beta patch(es). These beta patches take you to a different area....it has happened to others. You said you had 1.5, but I offer this as another possibility...if you are new to the sim, it is possible to get the wrong patch. ------------------

yep i got the plane pack5.3b could the contest pack be the problem please help i love this game and i realy want to play it online.
the patch file i downloaded was called fspatch150
is that right
if it is. then i dont know what to do.------------------

Yes, it sounds like you have the right stuff. No, the contest pack should not affect whether or not you see anyone else in lobbies. Sounds like you are just hitting the lobby between pilots; hang in there, if the server checker or beeper says they are there, then you should come across someone within a few minutes. If no one else shows up after about 5 minutes, back up one screen ( to the select lobby screen ) and come back in. This has happened to me a couple of times, and this procedure always worked for me.
