I am not sure if this is the appropriate place for this message but here goes:

I've have been reading through the old posts about the MS FF joystick and it seems that everyone is having the same control issues wit keeping things steady. The joystick itself tries to return to the center through the motor (when you touch the sensors on the joystick handle) but is Fighter Squadron it would appear that this feature is disabled and as a result the joystick is "limp". I was hoping that Michael would possibly be able to fix this or if there is some setting I missed somewhere Thanks.

Unfortunaly I have had to switch to a non ff stick due to the problems you are talking about. I just couldn't keep switching sticks back and forth. We have been told that someone is working on it for the patch so keep your fingers crossed.

my msff stick for starters would every once in a while say not connected in windows and I would have to screw around and reinstall it.it worked well in RB2 and eaw ans mscfs, but in sdoe it was a limp noodle and it was very sensitive.

If you like to yank and bank msff is for you.
If you want the feel of a real plane, try another joystick.

If I told you I'm sure bill gates would send people out to kill you but I will devulge it anyway.

Actually mine worked great but there were a few planes like the p51 which were so shakey and touchy that I had go get a stick with some stick force. Like Chris said in his post most games center the stick which puts force on it to hold it centered which gives the feeling of the resistance of the control surfaces fighting your control. This requires some force on your part to manuever and is quite immersive and adds to the realism, where in SDOE the stick is just limp like a wet noodle making it is work trying to keep it steady and centered.

Think is great and it works fine for me
I never could shoot very well but have a great time trying.
Thrustmaster makes the best that i have tried
but making it work right is a bitch.

Dogma,

I guess it must be something different between computers or something because I have to turn down the force feedback effect a little so the stick isn't too hard to move.

Very strange. I don't really know why we are getting totally opposite results?
