Contest Pack 1.1 has been released and can be downloaded at simFiles.
http://www.simfiles.com Thanks to all who helped test it over the last few weeks. I think this will go a long way to help solving out Online Missmatch problems. Also a very special thanks to all those who built the wonderful planes and objects that are contained in the Pack. IP: Logged |

I know I shoulda asked this when we were testing but..
Is mposis' new carrier included? we just played a pacific mission and everone looked like their planes were floating in midair behind the carrier to me. All the guages on the 190A4 are different now is this right? I liked the ones that came with the game but if these are more realistic that's cool.. Is there a zero canopy without reflections somewhere I can install? Just had a great evening online with almost no conflicts flying the p47, yak, etc. thanks to you Dogma! TS ------------------

The Akagi with 28 AA cannons is included But I believe he as another one but I couldn't find it.The 190A4 didn't change in this pack. You were actually the last person to change it in 5.3b as far as I know. The Zero Canopy was supposed to be added like the one one the jug. You can just stick the non reflections cockpit file from the beta 1.3 version in the A6M5 directory. Isn't life without mismatches da bomb! I hope everyone has as good results. IP: Logged |

Dogma, all the 190A4 guage textures have changed. Since the guage textures are shared by several german planes it could be one of the other german planes caused this. Should I remove the akagi from my vehicles directory? IE, does the contest pack include the latest in a .par file that my file is overriding? Thanks I will try the canopy update for the zero  We actually had 14 player mission going at one point last night.. TS

The only time I can remember playing through-out the evening with no A/C MM's. This is fantastic and it will only get better cause of guys like you and others that do what they do for us here, Thanks and Spyder will be glad to kiss you on the bum for me...

The Akagi in the contest pack was the latest one posted on mposis' site the day before I I built the final. It may not be the newest but I thought it was.As for the guages I don't have any german planes in the packs so I don't know what happened there. IP: Logged |

OK--so I've tried to change the skin for the I16 by creating an I 16 folder in my Media\Aircraft folder and placing it in a textures folder...but I don't see the new skin in the game- just the one that shipped with 1.1-- the other planes all show the new skins I put in their respective folders- so why should the I16 be any different? ------------------

First thing I do when I install a piece of software is read the readme file. It explains that your folders are not deleted just moved to the oldaircraft directory.Jeeves, if you are trying to use the Spanish Republic rata skin that lfbpro uploaded to simfiles his instructions are at fault. I had the same problem. You ahve to rename the tifs to fuse.tif and wings.tif. I deleted my cache files 10 times and finally unpacked my par file to figure that one out
