My beeper is going off like crazy. I've been sitting in Cali 12 off and on for an hour. Beeper says there are 10 people in Cali 12 but I see no one.

WHY??????????????

Make sure you are running the patched version of SDOE but not the beta patch.. if you are running the wrong version of SDOE you will never see anyone in the lobbies.

Yup I've got 5.3b. I hate to sound like a FNG, but due to my old schedule I have yet to catch anybody online ever. Just got the beeper and it started going off so I logged on. I was worried I was doing something else wrong.

Does the beeper have an on/off switch that I'm missing. Right now, after I turn it on,
the only way I can turn it off is to reboot.

Well Tail I believe I have everything.

1. Sdoe (out of the box)
2. 1.5 patch
3. 5.3+5.3b
4. Beta 65
5. Nations+patch
6. Server info.
7. Dover night
8. Rhineland winter
9. Control 2000
10. Sdoe beeper
11. Contest pack

I just did a fresh reinstall. I don't remember the exact installation order but offline everything works fine. Any input would be a great help.

- Beta 65

If this is the beta SDOE patch then that could be a problem.. make sure you are running sdemons.exe file and not app.exe file.

You can exit SDOE beeper by right clicking on the icon and selecting exit.

Bullet,

As Tailslide said you are probably using Version 1.5.1 (Build 65)- (the beta patch).

The online group continues to use 1.5 (the official patch).

You don't need to change anything about your installation just run sdemons.exe instead of app.exe.

If you aren't sure in the opening screen for the game you will see a version number in the bottom left side of the screen. If you are running the beta build it will say "Version 1.5.1 Build 65"

If you are running the "official 1.5 patch" it will say "Version 1.5"
