As a long time lurker in this forum, I finaly decided to register. Short introduction: I suck at flying whatever airplane in whatever flightsim, but I enjoy them big time! Big intrests in WW2 airplanes (everything that is a jet, isn't half as intresting as everything with a piston engine, but still intresthing tho.) Long time owner of FSSDOE, absolutly no situational awareness (what is that big green thing there filling my windscreen? *Kaboum*, Ah, earth.), and ACM is parsed by my brain as Automatic Coffee Machine. Since a while a cable internet connection, so expect me airborne, just don't waste ammo on me, I am much better in killing myself than any of you would be able to do for me Intrested in modeling, having a few ideas and a pile of FlyPast magazines to (eventually) suport me on that. Any hints on what software to use for it?

Great idea signing on. We need more people voiceing there opinions

If your interested in making planes i think you need one of 2 things.

Ac3d or 3d studio max.

There should be others that work but i havn't heard of anyone using them.

If you have been lurking long you know that all the talented modeling guys are very free with advice and help to new plane builders.
