OK, as some of you may or may-not know ... I'm working dilegently on a NorthAmerican F86e Saber ...

My own personal experiance with modeling previously was Quake and Half-Life figures.

Based on my experiance with creating an aircraft for FS ...

... I suddenly have a whole new reverance to those that have made aircraft previously. I never really appreciated the time .. workmanship .. and headaches that are part of the "process" ...

I think we "ALL" owe a bit more than a thanks to all our pioneering modelers ...

"I" certainly have new respect!

BTW ... I also have a BIG Kudo for all you DOF wizards out there ... what an absolute pain-in-the-ass!!!!!!!!

Hi Zur,

How long before a beta release?

I can't wait. It is my favorite Jet from that era.

Thanks,

Condor out

... Condor,

Well ...

After proving that I CAN in fact ram my head into a brick wall and still not accomplish much ... Things are now progressing well.

"Most" of the base model has been imported into FS with OPStudio, what is really left is adjusting the DOFs for the control surfaces (I see more brick ramming in the near future).. flight-modeling ... and minute details (read: cockpit and a skin)..

I'm "HOPING" to have a public beta by the end of May. I guess it all depends on if I can manage to actually PUT my head through the wall ...

Pete Hawk had a MiG-15 at one point. Not sure what stage it's at now, but the 3D model looked pretty Miggy.

If ya need any help on the Sabre, just holler (another one of my favorite planes)

I do have a beautiful MiG-15 in the works. After we get moved next week and settled in I'll get back to work on it. I turned over the B-24 and PBY to a few people who I'm confident can turn them into nice flying planes.

But just as a reminder, since we (around my house) have lots going on, someone bring the up the MiG to me again in a couple weeks or so and I'll work on it. Glad to have a Sabre in the works, that's great Z!

I only say beautiful because it looks very sweet in the air. I intend to do a lot with this one.

Uh, yeah It'll be quite some time before she's out in beta. But when it is, I suspect you'll enjoy it!!

The link above worked for me just now. The pics are MiG1 and MiG2.

Zur,

Wait until you decide to distribute it via a plane pack and peope use it online. It opens a whole new world of problems for you to fix!
