Spanky here...

Just thought I would let people know about this.

I know its not fighter squadron but what they heck. Its looking and sounding amazing.

Looks like MH will have quite the compatition if they stay in the ww2 flight sim game.

comon spanky, how many times do I have to say it...

We're moving to the hawk sim genre. That's where the Next Big Thing is.

Spanky here..

I really do wish you were man.

I bet you could get a short term project like that paid for by some bird protection agency if it taught ya about the birds too.

That would be cool.

Mighty,

I did try to do the cow thing during February and the farthest I got with the animated legs was a CTD when activating the cows legs. It was a cool idea but not meant to be in this version.

Maybe some dairy farmer out there can prove me wrong

I have thought it would be cool to model a bird which would be made up of body, leftwing, and rightwing, plus a tree with its nest. The whole thing would be a ground object, and the base object would be the tree, and the bird would have looping DOFs to make its wings flap, and also looping DOFs doing rotate/translate stuff to make it fly around, like Pete's moving carrier! It might be kind of cool to see birds flying around the airfield when you come in for a landing :-)

Charm,

Actually a better comparison would be to the observation balloon moving ground object I did

It gently goes up and moves around as if by the wind, and then after 5 mins floats back down. Man, I always get sidetracked from stuff to try these neat new twists with OpenPlane I may have to try this one. It sounds cool.
