I need a few highspeed volunteers to download the new 14 +/- mb plane pack and help me test it this week. I would prefer maybe 5 people with fast connections that won't mind downloading a few revisions if needed(doubtful)The new pack contains all the contest aircraft with the exception of the 109's which are in 5.3. This includes new corsairs, Yak, and the latest i16. I will check with team jug on the 47 before I do the final compile today. Condor--The 4-30 Corsairs (which you're not supposed to know about BTW)  are the ones that are in the new plane pack (made specifically for it actually)

Jedi,Sorry about that slip up. One more question: Is it true(please test and verify for me, it happens for me and others) that once you update to this new version of the f4upack4-30.zip, all online missions previously created with the f4u in them nolonger work but give you a ctd? I'd kind of prefer that folks NOT download the Corsairs currently on my site. I put them there to make it easier for Dogma to get them into the new pack. If folks use them now, there will be a new round of mismatches for anyone using the "official" Corsairs, which are still the contest versions posted in March. If you can't resist, well, go ahead, but don't use em online until the "official" updated plane pack is made available.As for online missions CTD, um...I don't know I'm not a mission specialist. I just made up some offline ones, tested em, and let em loose. As to whether "old" online missions work with "new" airplanes, I just don't know. I think there WAS a problem with missions using the early version of either the VF-17 or VMF-214 squadrons, but to the best of my knowledge, the squadrons included in the contest version should be OK. Again, I don't know enough about online mission making to verify that tho... ------------------

d0gma,My guess on the p47 is that it'll be ready for release after the weekend. Not sure. DM and FM wise it's done, may add a detail or two, depending on time and mood, but they're not necessary. JT's swamped, but we want to do some fixes to the canopy before releasing.
