Well, just to keep me going (Can't you tell I'm avoiding my big jobs ) I quickly knocked up a T34, it's not a moving ground object, seems to much hassle with them right now. But even so, thought atleast I can add a few things to compliment the Nations addon right

Here's a lil pic, and it's available for download in my Ground Units section.

If you can't beat em.... out run em!
there again, you could go buy a shiny new F4U, and kick some butt!!!

(cringe) What are the odds! Pete had made me a working ground object T34 some time ago in preparation for me turning it into a working vehicle, but I hadn't gotten around to posting it (sorry pete!). For the record this is the only such tank sitting on my HD, so if you have any inclination to make a tank from the BT, KV or IS series, please do! Thanks for your work Nat, it's a nice complement to the (imo) underutilized nations and I'm sorry it has been duplicated.

Oh no worries about that Werner, these little things can be knocked out real quick, I'll leave the a/c to the ones that really know what they are doing

I'm looking for AA pics and data for Russian units if anyone has some good links

I just wish there was a way to group the ground objects together into groups, the list is getting rather long now and it's a real pain sorting through for what I want to use.. oh, btw, if anyones interested, I'll have a 60ft tall Mech Warrior to add soon (no, you can't walk around in it! lol)

that sounds pretty sweet. It would be really great if you made it mobile somehow... at least I hope it will be able to fire rockets :-)

Speaking of ground units, have you guys tried out Gunship? I know the FM leaves a little to be desired, but wow the ground units rule! I was flying a night mission the other evening, using the NVGs and you can see WAY out into the horizon/haze. It looks so cool. Lock onto a tank, fire a hellfire missle, a few seconds later see it go in and BAM! The explosion and smoke is no doubt the best I've ever seen! It's really really cool

It's overall pretty arcady but it does have nice points. On one mission I thought I was all done, and low and behold there's this jeep looking vehicle HAULING BUTT across the terrain! It looked great! The physics make them react according to the terrain and it's really a site to see. I zoomed up on his 6 and took him out. After you hit them they roll to a stop as the fire takes over.

I recommend this game just for all mentioned here. It's fun! Spanky likes it too

Spanky here...

Yep for sure. The ground units rock. AND the trees and buildings.

Theres nothing like going in the city and hover around in the streets taking out jeeps and tanks.

Heck the guys get out and run around. Some with small arms and other with shoulder mounted AA missles.

Great fun.
