Bonjour !
Just 2 quick questions which bring a quick answer:
1 - Do you know Blender ( www.blender.nl ), a freeware modeler.
2 - If yes, have you tried it to design a plane instead of AC3D or 3DS?

Spanky, Perhaps because the author of it doesn't have one, and since it's free doesn't want to invest in one?

I tried it and all I must commend its exquisite user-friendliness....NOT!

I'm one big question mark at the moment.

Spanky here..

I'm just saying if you were going to make a program that was free. You would think you would want to support all the people out there with voodoo cards.

Course he has the time and money to support all those crazy cards non of us have.

Oh welll

OpenGL is the de facto industry standard graphics language. 3Dfx's support for OpenGL on their Voodoo line of cards is very poor. In short, Voodoo cards are aimed at the game playing market. More serious/professional users/developers/modelers/artists use different cards altogether. The designer of this application was almost certainly targeting this audience, not the game player.
