Very sweet indeed! WWI has become something of a great flying site what with all the new aircraft. this one is great!

However, two things - the Hanger test flight works great 'right out of the box" but the mission hang up on the loading screen. i fixed this by going into each mission and changing the nationality of the aircraft to British - it then work great on the training missions. The other thing is that the rocket loading does not have the rockets on the weapons screen although they appear on the wing struts. Therefore you couldn't activate them to fire - a bug or missing file???
Other than that - WOW!!!

Speed, did you read the readme that came with the Nieuport? You have to add a line to the startup.ppf file to get the rockets working, and they have to be enabled in the mission editor. As for changing the nationality to British, I didnt have to do that... Hmm, thats wierd!

Hmmm... your's is the only report for those problems. Please, double check your install against the readme and let me know if you still find something amiss!

In the missions the Nieuport comes set as British/Allies and the Albatros as German/ Axis. The Sqaudrons were the box squads to avoid any conflicts also. So that one is a puzzler?

I believe ArgonV may have your rocket issue pegged.

Guilty! Okay - so I didn't read the readme - yet! I will guys! Also I downloaded the file from the WWI OpenPlane site, it isn't from the contest package as I was too late to enter the WWI portion of the contest. I just got around to the WWI planes last night. In the version I downloaded the Nieport was assigned to a German squadron as was the Axis aircraft. That was maybe an oversight for that copy.

Thats for the information - I will check out the readme and add the correct lines to my files. It's a real beauty! Thanks Ronin!

BTW - Sometimes I hate combined files (.par) as I sometimes do not like the FMs so I always try to get the "single issue" versions as well.

Speed:

I'll double check the mission allies/axis alignment in my master file.

Let me know if you can't get the rockets working via the readme file! They're a gas to use!

Has anyone been successful in using them against another aircraft yet??!! What happens??

I keep trying but I can't seem to hit anything smaller than Pete's Balloon! LoL!

Regards, Ronin
