3 B-17f's enroute at 20k 275mph on a bomb run to Tarhuna.

2 P-47's enroute escort 20k 275mph approx. 1/2 mile ahead.

4 Dora's from Tarhuna flying intercept.

2 Flak Panzer's 1 NW edge of Tarhuna, 1 SE edge of Zuwarah both set on min.

The Dora's intercept between 15k and 20k over El Djem bay usually with the 47's diving on them.

When the last 47 takes a good hit (flak or cannons, mg's are pretty useless)bang...CTD.
I'm flying on beta65. I have tried different plane combos, new Dora, old Dora, different numbers of planes, still get CTD.

I originally built the mission with P-38's and the old Dora and it worked great. Changed back to P-38's everything is fine.

Other odd things I have noticed.(mostly in AI)

The new Dora is easily disracted by fighters where as the old version goes dead after bombers, the old version is a little more viscious.

The new Dora is also highly likely to just wander off. Leaving 1 or 2 planes per flight to do the fighting. This is all with the exact same AI settings.

In AI the P-47 is a mean bastard. I have had it out turn me, out dive me, out climb me and it is nearly impossible to shoot down.
The Dora is one of my fav. planes and if I can take out Mustangs and Spitfires in it I should be able to down a P-47 right? Should the P-47 out perform the Dora. I thought the 47 was supposed to fly like a school bus. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

As with alot of FS at the moment the Flight Models are a little iffy : - ) Great planes N all.

Only the other week on line I was flying a ossie with 6 FW190's on my arse! I was barly hitting 300mph in a dive and the FW made a meal of me after chasing me for 10 mins! In reality I should have out run them at low level with no load out!

Anyway as for the CTD try increasing the fuel levels to either:

500, 1000 or 1500. For some reason FS doesn't like wierd odd numbers ans most of my early missions would CTD all the time if AI ran out of fuel or if they didn't like it!

Use these amounts and fuel wont be a problem to you.

Another sugggestion may be that it is you graphics card. If not send the mission to me and I'll 'ave a look. No promises mind ; - )
