Will there be another one to generate more momentum in airplane building? I'm curious.

Spanky here...

Well if there is one we need it to be more organized. Cause this one was a mess and really brought on alot of mismatches.

Next one should have a set end date that doesn't change. and have a night a week before for release of betas so the makers can fine tune the planes and maybe have a pack put together the night they are all released

Just ideas

Another would be interesting, but I think that the voting criteria should be a tad more refined.

What about a ground object competition? Different classes for architecture, unarmed vehicles (badly missing I think,) armed ground units.

Make sure the contest allocates plenty of time in order for the entries to be completed. This first contest provided valuable insight into actually how much damn work this really is

What about these categories:

Best WW2
Best WW1
Best Building
Best Vehicle - water
Best Vehicle - land
And then a best Wacky Category - for jets and spaceships and what not.

Of course more categories mean more prizes, so that may be strecthing it a little to thin.

Maybe we should make an FM contest, or a map contest so we can improve or expand the SDOE empire!

I really like the idea of a ground competition!! Archy has made some good progress on vehicles, and while they are still a hack they're getting better and better all the time, and with some OP wizardry we'll be fighting El Alamein before too much longer!
