Author Topic:   Vertical Landing d0gmA General posted 04-21- 12:21 PM                I am probably not the first to try this but it was amusing. I flew to the rainbow in a Spit IXe and when I got to the edge where my plane was basically pressed against the glass I pulled back on the throttle til I started to slowly descent from 5000 feet. When I got to 1000 I lowered my gear and increased throttle just a tad to slow my descent and did a perfect vertical landing on the terrain.
