Hey guysm I guess we've all seen the adverts for ic24.. well, I just joined them, you can do it all online if you want, took me 2 mins and that was it, signed off Virgin, and reconnected with ic24... They have great bandwidth (Virgin really sucks), plus they are the only ISP other than Virgin that recognises my 56K Winmodem! more.. yes you've heard it.. Sat and Sundays, 9am till 5pm free, no phone charges (all other calls at local rate) no fee's at all other than this.Here is a link if anyones interested

Nat, I've just switched to NTL, which is completely free, no charges whatsoever 24hrs a day. At the moment its a mixed bag, pretty fast during the day (4-5k/sec downloads on my 56kmodem).However, at night (now for instance) it gets pretty slow. Hopefully they'll fix this soon ( its free so I'm sticking with it, internet fees where fleecing me!)IP: Logged |

Nope, no charges. Only problem is, you have to be an NTL cabletel (telephone) customer.I've been with cabletel for 4 years now and I think there phone charges are cheaper than BT, + you get free cable channels (Sky1, Eurosport and a few others).You also have to spend a minimum of £10 on phone calls a month, but I do that anyway...IP: Logged |

LOL, you're not wrong, you and be both.. think I average about £90/month right now, but then.. 5 hours a day min - every day for the last 6 years, well, it's gonna cost me rightIP: Logged |
